Sa isang pagtitipon ng mga magsasaka sa General Santos City, May 10, ipinakilala ni Pres. Bongbong Marcos si dating senador Manny Pacquiao bilang “magbabalik na senador.”
“Babatiin ko lang ang idol ko, idol niyo, ang idol nating lahat. Ang dating senador at babalik na senador, Sen. Manny Pacquiao,” ayon sa Pangulo nang pangunahan ang distribusyon ng presidential assistance para sa mga magsasaka, mangingisda at kanilang pamilya sa GenSan.
