Ipinagbabawal na ngayon ng Department of Social Welfare and Development ang pakikisangkot ng mga pulitiko sa mga programa ng ahensya.
Ayon kay DSWD Spokesperson Irene Dumlao, pwede pa ring sumama ang mga politician pero bilang observers lang. Maaari raw nilang i-report sa main office ng DSWD ang mga pulitikong nangingialam pa rin sa mga proyekto ng ahensya.
