LOOK: Ashfall from Indonesia’s erupting Mt. Ruang blankets nearby villages ANC
Residents living near Indonesia’s Ruang volcano returned to their homes on Tagulandang island on Thursday (May 2) to find them wrecked by the volcano’s latest eruption that occurred this week. Heavy rain and volcanic debris such as rocks and ash damaged some buildings and roofs.Tuesday’s (April 30) eruption prompted authorities to evacuate more than 12,000 people from the nearby Tagulandang island. Evacuations were also ordered for residents of Ruang island.
