Captured by an eyewitness, drone footage showed roads filled with debris and collapsed roofing with exposed structures. At ground level an excavator was being used to start clean-up operations on one of the many properties affected by the extreme weather. Law enforcement officers were also seen in the area.

A tornado warning remained in effect until Friday evening, with the National Weather Service tallying over 60 tornado reports across five states by 9:30 p.m. ET (0130GMT).
