Iniulat ng Tactical Operations Wing, Southern Luzon (TOWSOL) ng Philippine Air Force #PAF ang presensya ng isang Chinese research vessel na may pangalang /”Shen Kuo/” sa northeast ng katubigang sakop ng Viga, Catanduanes. Unang nakita ang barko noong April 25 sa 60.9 nautical miles silangan ng Rapu-Rapu Island sa Albay.

Makailang beses na kinontak ng ating hukbo ang naturang barko ngunit hindi ito sumasagot ni namamansin.
