Record-breaking ang pagsubasta sa pinakamalaking ruby sa mundo sa halagang $34.8 milyon ($630,288 per carat) sa New York, U.S.A.

Binasag nito ang record noong Mayo ng 2015 kung saan naisubasta ang 25.59-carat Burmese stone na tinawag na /”Sunrise Ruby/” sa halagang $30.3 milyon sa Geneva sa Switzerland.
