The state weather bureau on Sunday, Aug. 27, said the Super Typhoon (STY) Goring (international name: Saola) maintained its strength and will begin to follow the forecasted loop path over the Philippine Sea east of Cagayan and Isabela area./r

PAGASA said STY Goring continues to “maintain its strength” as it moves southward east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora./r

Moving southward slowly, PAGASA said the STY Goring has maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h./r
