Russian missiles struck the centre of Ukraine’s Pokrovsk twice on Monday (August 7) night killing eight people, including five civilians, regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said in a statement. Footage from the town showed firefighters working among streets strewn with rubble, the wreckage of a car and several damaged apartment buildings.
