/”We continue to urge all parties to exercise self-restraint and refrain from unilateral and ascertain activities that would increase tensions in the region, misunderstandings and miscalculations in the South China Sea,/” pahayag niya.

Binigyang-diin niya partikular ang international law at rules-based order sa 18th East Asia Summit bilang bahagi ng ikatling araw ng 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits sa Jakarta, Indonesia ngayong Huwebes, September 7.
