The low pressure area has exited the Philippine area of responsibility, but cloudy skies with scattered rain showers persist in most parts of the country due to the southwest monsoon, locally known as “habagat,” said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Wednesday.
