South Korean and U.S. special command troops conducted a joint maritime infiltration training on Monday (August 28) as part of the Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises. About 100 U.S. and South Korean soldiers were mobilised for the drills off South Korea’s coast in Yangyang county, according to South Korean military. The joint Ulchi exercises from August 21 to 31 were designed to enhance responses to North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats.
