LOOK: Caribbean turtles get a helping hand from British navy ANC
On The Scene: British sailors on the Caribbean island of Curacao helped clean up the local turtle habitat. Fifty sailors from the destroyer HMS Dauntless worked with a turtle conservation organization to clean up rubbish and check turtles for diseases on the island. The Royal Navy said its crew collected more than 200 kilograms (440 pounds) of ocean plastic and assisted with medical check-ups for the turtles.
