Ipinasilip ng Tokyo-based start-up na Tsubame Industries ang kanilang real-life /”Mobile Suit Gundam/” human-piloted robot na ayon kay CEO Ryo Yoshida ay may “robot mode” at “vehicle mode” na kayang tumakbo ng hanggang 10 km o 6 miles per hour.
Ang human-piloted robot na pinangalanang “Archax,” na inspired sa avian dinosaur archaeopteryx, ay may 26 joints na maaaring kontrolin ng isang tao sa pamamagitan ng pagpasok sa cockpit. Ito ay four-wheeled robot na may taas na 14.8-feet at may bigat na 3.5-tons.
