End of a dynasty as NU Lady Bulldogs dethroned by UST
National University’s dominance of the UAAP women’s basketball scene ended on Wednesday, December 6, when they were dethroned by the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigresses.

The Lady Bulldogs squandered a 15-point advantage in Game 3 and lost, 71-69, to cede their crown to the Tigresses. They had ruled the UAAP for the past seven seasons.

After their loss, NU head coach Aris Dimaunahan and graduating guard Stefanie Berberabe discussed their campaign and looked ahead to the program’s future.
