The Creamline Cool Smashers are headed to another conference finals after sweeping Chery Tiggo in their Final 4 showdown in the PVL All-Filipino Conference. Creamline took care of business in Game 2, securing a 26-24, 25-21, 25-21 win to oust the Crossovers on Saturday, December 9.

Creamline got it done thanks to a balanced offensive effort wherein four players reached double-digits. Tots Carlos had 19 points, Jema Galanza had 17, Alyssa Valdez added 14 and Pangs Panaga contributed 10 points. As a team, the Cool Smashers had a 56-42 advantage in kills against the Crossovers.

But Carlos was quick to stress that their job is not yet done as Creamline will first await the winner of the other semifinals series between Choco Mucho and Cignal HD. /”Hindi pa yun doon nagtatapos. One game at a time, one point at a time. Balik kami sa training bukas,/” the spiker said after the match.

EJ Laure had 14 points in a losing effort for Chery Tiggo, as Eya Laure saw limited minutes due to illness.
