Bumisita sa unang pagkakataon ang Commission on Elections #COMELEC sa Sitio Kapihan sa Socorro, Surigao del Norte nitong Linggo, October 1 para mag-inspeksyon sa bayan kasunod ng nalalapit na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections #BSKE.
Layong masiguro ng ahensya na maayos at payapa ang nalalapit na eleksyon doon sa kabila ng gumugulong ng imbestigasyon sa Senado sa umano’y kulto na Socorro Bayanihan Services Inc. #SBSI.
