#News5OnTape Sineguro ni Commission on Higher Education #CHED Chairperson Popoy de Vera na isusulong ng ahensya ang inclusive education at equity sa susunod na limang taon ng administrasyong Marcos, Jr. para mabigyang pagkakataon ang mga estudyanteng mula sa public schools, poverty areas, at bahagi ng indigenous peoples’ group na matulungang makapasa sa admission test ng mga public university at mabigyang prayoridad na makapag-aral sa mga ito.

“It is time that we focus on equity, meaning, a conscious effort to identify the groups that we need to bring to the university education that can be marginalized because of the admission process and the competitiveness,” pahayag niya.

“Of telling our public universities to be very conscious in identifying student from public school, poverty areas, children of Indigenous People #IP, those who have been marginalized, to assists them pass the admission test. Once they get to public education, they don’t need to pay anymore for tuition and for miscellaneous fees and they can be assisted,” dagdag pa niya. #News5
