Pinangunahan ni Pres. Bongbong Marcos ang pagpapasinaya ng 24.9-Megawatt Lake Mainit Hydroelectric Power Plant sa Jabonga, Agusan del Norte ngayong araw, July 12. Ang proyektong ito ay joint partnership sa pagitan ng Markham Resources Corpation ng Pilipinas at Japanese firm J-POWER.

Tinupad ng naturang hydroelectric power plant ang target ng Pangulo sa kaniyang unang State of the Nation Address (SONA) na mabawasan ang epekto ng climate change at paglaban sa iba pang banta sa kalikasan sa pamamagitan ng pagsusulong ng renewable energy.
